General Labourer (Ferrous Receiver)

We are currently recruiting for a Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Burlington location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises. 

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork lift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

What we offer:

• Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

• Good Computer Skills 
• Experience in operating a crane
• Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
