Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Canada)

Senior full-stack position on a distributed North American engineering team building a platform where real-time data, complex systems and critical user workflows require high reliability and performance. The role combines backend architecture/API work with product-quality ownership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable systems and APIs for core product functionality.
• Own features from problem definition through implementation and iteration.
• Make technical decisions balancing speed, quality and maintainability.
• Partner directly with product and business teams.
• Build shared infrastructure and improve engineering standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 4–6 weeks.

Profile

• Experience building and operating systems at meaningful scale.
• Strong systems thinking, product orientation and ownership.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and influencing technical direction.
• Stack includes React/TypeScript, TypeScript backend, Python/Go, PostgreSQL, analytical systems, GCP, containers and CI/CD; Kubernetes is useful.

Remote position in Canada with a distributed North American team.
