Description du poste

Egis Canada is looking for a driven and experienced Director, Business Development, Canada, Nuclear and Environment to grow our practice across Canada. This is a client-facing role responsible for building relationships, developing opportunities, and winning work across the Egis nuclear and environment services portfolio.

Nuclear and Environment are key parts of our strategic growth plan, and this role will have a strong focus on clients in Canada with a focus in Ontario. You will report to the VP, Business Development and Growth, Canada East, with dotted-line reporting relationships to the Business Line Director for Energy and Sustainable Cities, and the Service Line Directors for Nuclear and Environment. The business development activities in Western Canada related to Nuclear and Environment are to be coordinated with the Western Canada Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities

Grow the Business

  • Develop and execute BD strategies that grow Egis’ client and market portfolio across Canada, with a primary focus on Nuclear across Canada with a focus in Ontario to start, and on Environment across Eastern Canada (Ontario and Québec).
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across the full Egis services portfolio, build lasting client relationships, and lead the pursuit lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract close in collaboration with the Tender Unit for larger/strategic mandates.
  • Drive revenue targets and manage the pipeline with accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with the VP, Business Development and Growth for Canada East and West to support major infrastructure bids and positioning efforts, ensuring strong coordination across the business development team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data across the client portfolio and oversee active Master Service Agreements and standing offers, ensuring call-ups are actively pursued and opportunities are tracked.

Build Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nuclear and environment clients, agencies, and key stakeholders across East Canada with a focus in Ontario to start.
  • Stay informed on funding announcements, procurement activity, and policy developments at the municipal, provincial and federal level to identify and act on opportunities early.
  • Represent Egis at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen our profile and generate leads.

Lead the Team

  • Mentor the business development seller-doer team in Operations, building capability in pursuit leadership, proposal writing, and client management.
  • Work closely with technical, commercial, and delivery teams across business lines to develop compelling proposals and value propositions that win work.
  • Ensure CRM records, pipeline reporting, and pursuit governance practices are consistently maintained.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status, market activity, and client engagement.
