Opportunity
Unity Healthcare is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses for independent-contractor assignments across Manitoba. Contractors can select assignments that fit their skills, availability and preferred locations through Unity’s Shiftboard-supported scheduling model.
Assignment support
- Potential assignments across long-term care, rural and remote healthcare, home/community care, First Nations settings and other Manitoba healthcare environments depending on qualifications.
- WCB coverage and travel-planning support are provided.
- Unity supports flexible scheduling and assignment selection.
Qualifications
Requirements
Applicants must hold the qualifications/licensure required for LPN practice and meet the credentialing requirements of each assignment. Additional specialty training may be required for particular settings.
Informations complémentaires
Compensation
- CAD $36-$39/hour depending on assignment location, services, experience and qualifications.
- Overtime and statutory holidays at 1.5x.
- Per diem: $60 per 12-hour shift or $40 per 8-hour shift.
- Mileage: $0.45/km.
- Paid travel time from residence or Unity office in East Selkirk, whichever is closer to the assignment.
