Description du poste
Full-time Process Engineer opportunity in Concord, Ontario supporting a wood-manufacturing operation. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, quality and productivity while reducing waste, bottlenecks and downtime.
Key responsibilities
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes and production performance.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Identify sources of waste, downtime and production constraints and develop corrective improvements.
• Develop, standardize and improve SOPs and production workflows.
• Work closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to implement process changes and sustain results.
Requirements
A degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, together with process/manufacturing engineering experience. Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and structured process improvement is expected. Experience in wood products, furniture, cabinetry or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
