Description du poste
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Design and develop welding processes.
- Prepare and maintain welding procedure specifications and procedure-qualification records.
- Inspect and test welds using non-destructive and destructive methods as required.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Support project cost and schedule requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot welding issues.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with multiple welding processes and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Intermediate English.
- Knowledge of TIG, MIG, SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
- Knowledge of AWS, ASME and ISO standards.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and solve technical problems.
- Strong communication skills and experience with simulation/CAD tools.
- Safety certification and PE/CWE credentials are assets.
- Automation/robotic-welding and metallurgy experience are assets.
