Role overview

Executive Leadership Team role reporting to the CEO and leading the Ottawa Food Bank’s Programs and Planning function. The mandate combines strategy, community partnerships, program execution, data-informed planning and departmental leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for programs, initiatives and partnerships that strengthen the member-agency network and the organization’s response to food insecurity.
• Translate organizational strategy into operational plans, priorities and departmental initiatives.
• Own the department budget and align resources with program priorities.
• Work closely with Operations and Finance on food-distribution modelling, inventory trends and program budgets.
• Use client-intake data, community insight and lived-experience perspectives to evaluate and adjust frameworks and initiatives.
• Lead implementation of a new departmental CRM and strengthen information-management and decision-support systems.
• Clarify accountabilities, develop the team and improve cross-functional collaboration following organizational transition.
• Maintain relationships with community agencies and partners including Ottawa Public Health, Ottawa Community Housing and the City of Ottawa.

Compensation

Public compensation range: CAD 114,594–143,243.
