Role overview

General Manager mandate with full responsibility for Rocket Lab’s Toronto-based ADCS Components group. The role balances commercial growth, engineering excellence, product direction, operations and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, production, product management, business development and financial performance.
• Deliver customer commitments while aligning the Toronto business with Rocket Lab’s global strategic objectives.
• Partner with corporate supply chain, finance, people operations and other shared services.
• Represent the business internally and externally with customers and industry partners.
• Guide product roadmap and capital-investment decisions.
• Allocate resources across the organization and identify the highest-value opportunities for time, talent and investment.
• Strengthen commercial performance and operational execution while preserving the team’s agility and technical culture.

Qualifications

• Accomplished executive with experience leading multidisciplinary teams in sophisticated technology environments.
• Background may come from aerospace, defence, robotics, advanced manufacturing, industrial technology or another high-reliability sector.
• Experience overseeing financial performance, product direction, commercial activity and operations.
• Strong resource-allocation and investment judgment.
• Comfort operating with significant autonomy and making difficult long-term decisions.
• Leadership style emphasizing clarity, accountability and trust.

The Toronto business develops spacecraft attitude-determination and control technologies such as star trackers and reaction wheels and is part of Rocket Lab’s global Space Systems organization.
