Description du poste
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on heavy forestry equipment.
- Clean and lubricate equipment and components.
- Disassemble, repair and reassemble engines and mechanical units and perform operational testing.
- Repair mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Handle waste and hazardous materials according to safety requirements and perform other assigned maintenance duties.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Red Seal is an asset; candidates with Block 1, 2 or 3 training may also be considered.
- Welding and forestry-equipment experience are assets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while remaining autonomous and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical skills; bilingual ability is an asset.
