Description du poste
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and bulldozers; grader and backhoe experience is an asset.
- Perform trenching and excavation work for utilities and civil projects.
- Move and handle materials safely.
- Use GPS and machine-control systems when required.
- Perform finishing and fine-grading work.
- Complete pre-use inspections and basic maintenance.
- Follow PPE, safety and operating requirements and communicate with the site team.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of heavy-equipment operating experience, particularly excavators and bulldozers.
- Intermediate English.
- Relevant safety certification and operator training.
- Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s licence is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, teamwork and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in changing site conditions.
- GPS/machine-control and finishing/fine-grading experience are valuable assets.
