Description du poste
Full-time Lead Plumber opportunity with Bretoba Contracting in Ingonish, Nova Scotia. The role leads plumbing work on residential and light-commercial construction projects, combines hands-on installation and troubleshooting with site leadership, and coordinates closely with other trades to keep work progressing efficiently.
Key responsibilities
• Lead plumbing installations and repairs on active residential and light-commercial projects.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and complete technically sound corrective work.
• Coordinate material needs, sequencing and site priorities with construction leadership.
• Guide less-experienced workers and help maintain workmanship standards.
• Coordinate plumbing activities with electrical, carpentry and other construction trades.
• Follow applicable codes, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Help resolve field conditions or changes that affect plumbing scope and schedule.
Profile
Red Seal plumbing certification and substantial hands-on experience are required. The public posting calls for roughly seven years of experience. Strong leadership, practical troubleshooting, site coordination, communication and a consistent commitment to safety and quality are important for the position.
Qualifications
Le Sceau rouge en plomberie et une solide expérience pratique sont requis; l’offre demande environ sept années d’expérience. De fortes compétences en leadership et coordination de chantier sont recherchées.
