About the opportunity

Maxwell Management Group is recruiting a Pharmacist for an independently owned Pharmasave location in Terrace, British Columbia. The pharmacy has operated in the community since 2015 and emphasizes direct patient relationships, professional pharmacy services and collaboration with local healthcare providers.

Position overview

The full-time Pharmacist provides community-based pharmacy care with a strong focus on safe dispensing, medication management, patient counselling and relationship-based service. The employer is looking for someone who values clinical service as well as the day-to-day realities of a busy community pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients on appropriate medication use, precautions and therapy expectations.
• Conduct medication reviews and medication-therapy-management activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Build strong, ongoing relationships with patients and members of the local healthcare community.
• Support the pharmacy's broader professional and clinical-service offering.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in daily practice.
• Communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and healthcare partners.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced community-pharmacy environment.

Terrace is located in northwestern British Columbia and offers year-round outdoor recreation, including skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking and rafting. Compensation and benefits

• Published hourly rate: $60.50–$65.00.
• Sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
• Opportunity for an annual performance bonus.

• Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia or eligible for BC licensure.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent recognized pharmacy education.
• Strong commitment to safe dispensing and patient-centred pharmacy care.
• Injection training is an asset.
• Medication-review and medication-management experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
• Previous community-pharmacy experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, patient-counselling and teamwork skills.

Terrace, C.-B. Taux horaire publié : 60,50 $ à 65,00 $, avec prime d’embauche pouvant atteindre 15 000 $ et possibilité de prime annuelle liée au rendement.
