Billing Specialist, Law Firm (Hybrid)

YOUR ROLE:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing invoices, and ensure their submission through an electronic platform;

  • Analyzing and resolving issues related to billing;

  • Acting as a point of contact for tracking information requests and producing reports;

  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate records and data within the accounting system;

  • Creating new electronic accounts and managing their updates.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;

  • Relevant billing experience within a professional services environment;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French; professional proficiency in English is considered an asset;

  • Proven experience using e-billing platforms, accounting systems, and the Microsoft Office suite;

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles;

  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and accuracy;

  • Collaborative team player with a positive and cooperative approach;

  • Strong ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized;

  • Strong communication skills and a client-service-oriented approach.
