Role description

Professional Development Advisor – Succession Planning

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a strategic role and apply your expertise to help implement and evaluate practices that support talent development and professional growth.

You will contribute to a wide range of impactful projects, including continuing education, mentorship, and career development programs for legal professionals.

Working closely with team leaders and members of senior leadership, you will coach and support professionals in their individual career development while also delivering group learning sessions and workshops.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Law, or a related field;

  • Experience in a similar role is required. Experience gained within a professional services firm would be considered a strong asset.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization;

  • Sound judgment, strong leadership qualities, and excellent analytical thinking;

  • Client-focused approach, coupled with a high degree of professionalism and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment;

  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and skilled at identifying practical solutions to complex challenges;

  • Membership in the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec is considered an asset.
