Payroll Specialist — P1026

Inacre Conseil is recruiting a payroll specialist for a professional services firm in Quebec City. The person manages the full payroll cycle for a diversified client portfolio and acts as a direct payroll resource for clients.

Main responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll, deductions, records of employment, T4/RL-1 slips, year-end summaries and reviews.
• Administer group benefits, retirement plans and terminations.
• Advise clients on payroll needs and process improvements.
• Work across multiple payroll systems and help automate repetitive work.
• Support knowledge-sharing and team development.

Profile

• Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally in a multi-client environment.
• College diploma in accounting or equivalent education.
• National Payroll Institute certification is a strong asset.
• Comfort with payroll software such as Nethris, Employeur D, ADP or Acomba, plus Excel and Google Workspace.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, adaptability and French communication skills.
