DZ Roll Off Driver

Role overview

KAS Staffing is recruiting an experienced DZ roll-off driver for a construction-focused client in Ottawa. The full-time day-shift role combines commercial driving with light site labour and requires a driver who is comfortable working long days as routes and construction activity change.

Responsibilities

• Operate a five-tonne DZ roll-off truck.
• Deliver and position empty roll-off bins at construction sites.
• Pick up full bins and transport them to designated dump sites.
• Complete light labour when required, including lining bins with plywood.
• Work extended hours as needed while maintaining safe driving and site practices.

• Minimum four years of DZ driving experience specifically with roll-off bins.
• Construction-industry experience is an asset.
• Comfort with light physical labour.
• Reliability and ability to work extended hours when required.
• Valid DZ licence and ability to meet KAS/client safety and compliance requirements.

Full-time Ottawa position. Published pay is $28–$30/hour depending on experience. Schedule is Monday to Friday with a 7:00 a.m. start and variable end times, approximately 50–60 hours per week; overtime applies after 44 hours.
