Role overview

An expanding finance team is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for a collaborative, business-facing FP&A role. Reporting to a senior finance leader, this person supports a key business portfolio by turning financial analysis into planning and operational guidance and by partnering with leaders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial-planning work for the assigned portfolio.
• Analyze performance and trends and translate findings into recommendations.
• Prepare variance analysis, profitability reporting and leadership metrics.
• Partner with operating teams to assess initiatives, investments and cost-management opportunities.
• Develop and improve financial models, reports and planning tools.
• Work with finance and cross-functional teams to strengthen processes and reporting.
• Support strategic projects tied to growth and operating performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• CPA, CFA or progress toward a professional designation is an asset.
• Four or more years of progressive FP&A, finance-business-partnering or related corporate-finance experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial-modeling and variance-analysis capability.
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills; adaptable and collaborative approach.
