Construction General Labor

Summary

 The Construction General Labourer supports various tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices. The Labourer plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. As a General Labour you will perform various types of laboring jobs according to the specification of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Cleaning and maintenance of work sites
• Moving material

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs.)
• Ability to keep busy on the work site under minimal supervision
• Ability to work, assist and help carpenters and other trades in different situations of work and job sites
• Experience in construction
