Order Picker

Summary

Order Pickers are responsible for picking store orders and delivering them to the staging lanes in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. They are responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Excellent opportunity for students.

• Pick store orders efficiently for shipment, ensuring that the tag on the front and back of the skids match the store for which orders are being picked

• Transport orders to shipping locations or staging lanes with the use of double or single pickers

• Stencil, tag, or mark orders accurately

• Inspect the machinery before the start of the shift and report on any visible or audible defects

• Conduct physical inventories as required during the inventory period

• Able to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs). 

• Read and count accurately, simple maths skills and write legibly.

• By flexible to work shift (evening, nights and weekends).

• Experience in a warehouse and driving a low lift pallet truck.

• Able to use an electronic tracking system such as a bar code.
