Role description
Responsibilities
- Complete overhead-crane inspections and required documentation.
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and work with applicable codes.
- Service lifting equipment and maintain customer logs.
- Assess, repair and modify equipment as required.
- Recommend solutions that support safe equipment operation.
- Educate customers on compliance requirements and maintain a safety-first approach.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- High-school education; Red Seal or relevant college credentials are assets.
- Intermediate English.
- Third-year electrical or millwright apprenticeship is relevant; Journeyman Electrical or Industrial Millwright status is an asset.
- Ability to work at heights up to approximately 125 ft.
- Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings; knowledge of applicable codes is an asset.
