President - International Forwarding

Reimer Associates is recruiting a President, International Forwarding to lead a growing international freight-forwarding business unit within a larger operating group. The executive assumes full responsibility for performance, direction and growth and leads commercial strategy, operational execution, customer development, margin management and talent leadership across air, ocean, customs and integrated logistics services. The mandate includes revenue growth, customer retention, market expansion, full P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, margin improvement, operational excellence, team building and relationships with customers, carriers, vendors and strategic partners. The President also identifies new business opportunities, enhances services and partners with senior leadership on long-range planning, organizational capability and growth priorities.

The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of progressive experience in international forwarding or global logistics leadership, with demonstrated success across both commercial and operational functions. Strong P&L ownership and a record of improving revenue, margin and business performance are required. Deep knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, customs and international logistics processes, proven team-building ability and strong customer-facing leadership are expected. Experience in entrepreneurial, privately held or growth-oriented environments is valued. A university degree or equivalent experience is expected; professional logistics credentials are an asset.
