Senior Director, Organic Growth & AI Search

Role overview

Senior growth leadership role owning organic acquisition across traditional SEO, content, AI search and emerging discovery channels for a high-growth company.

Key responsibilities

• Set a holistic organic-growth strategy tied to acquisition, revenue and customer growth.
• Own AEO, GEO, LLM visibility and broader AI-driven discovery strategy.
• Build measurement approaches for visibility across AI platforms and traditional search.
• Use data to identify opportunities for authority, third-party mentions and citations.
• Partner with PR, Brand, Partnerships, Social, Paid Acquisition, Product, Analytics and customer teams.
• Lead and develop a sizeable organic/content team with three direct reports.
• Coordinate paid and organic search strategy to improve acquisition efficiency.
• Present performance, risks and investment priorities to senior executives.
• Use AI tools to improve content and growth-program scale and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in organic search, SEO, growth or digital acquisition.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of organic acquisition economics and revenue impact.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AEO, GEO, LLM discovery and evolving AI-search ecosystems.
• Deep technical SEO, content strategy and off-site authority knowledge.
• Strong analytical fluency and experience measuring both traditional and AI-driven visibility.
• Experience partnering closely with paid acquisition.
• Executive-level communication and cross-functional influence.

Compensation and work model

Remote within Canada. Public salary range: CAD 220,000–270,000.
