Role overview
Freelance SEO copywriting and strategy engagement for a recruitment-focused career website, combining research, strategy, writing and on-page optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Review and optimize existing pages and recommend restructuring or additional content.
- Conduct keyword research and create an on-page SEO/content strategy.
- Write new copy for underdeveloped pages and improve existing content.
- Work within a platform with limited technical-SEO capabilities, making content and on-page optimization the primary levers.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to implement recommendations.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Strong SEO copywriting, keyword-research and content-strategy experience.
- Ability to audit a website and translate findings into actionable content recommendations.
- Comfort owning work from research through strategy, writing and optimization.
- Career-site, recruitment-marketing or employer-branding experience is an asset.
Additional information
Compensation
Public rate: CAD 40–65 per hour.
