Corporate Law Paralegal - National Law Firm

Vortex is recruiting an intermediate or senior corporate-law paralegal for a leading national law firm in downtown Montréal. Working with lawyers and the corporate-services manager, the successful candidate supports corporate, commercial and tax transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining and reviewing minute books, preparing due-diligence reports and corrective resolutions, drafting documentation for incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dividends, dissolutions, share transactions and registrations, filing with regulatory authorities, completing annual updates, liaising with clients and service providers, conducting corporate searches and preparing documents for reorganizations and other transactions.

At least five years of corporate-law paralegal experience in a law firm and a college diploma in paralegal/legal techniques are required. Strong written and spoken French and English, professional communication, autonomy, teamwork, legal research capability, knowledge of applicable legislation, accuracy in legal documentation, priority management and proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected. Athennian experience is an asset.
