Arpenteur / technicien minier (fly-in/fly-out)

Fly-in/fly-out Surveyor / Mine Technician contract supporting a growing Ontario mining operation. The assignment pays $50 per hour plus overtime and follows a two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rotation. Although the role begins as a contract, Bullitt notes that it may convert to permanent employment.

Role focus
• Carry out mine and field surveying and collect accurate site data for operational and engineering teams.
• Use Leica equipment and Total Station systems for survey work.
• Maintain records and support as-built information, measurements and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with mine operations and engineering personnel and work effectively in an active site environment.
• Support accurate field information required for planning, construction and mine operations.

Profile
Previous surveying experience is required, with mine-site experience preferred. Hands-on experience with Leica and Total Station equipment is specifically requested. Candidates should also be comfortable with technical data, record keeping, computer tools, field work and a rotational mine schedule.
