Responsibilities
- Promote and follow safe work practices.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance and EHS teams.
- Analyze chemical processes and process equipment and recommend improvements.
- Support environmental compliance related to chemicals and waste.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of engineering experience in an industrial environment, with pulp and paper experience relevant to the posting.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
- Advanced English.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical decision-making and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, curiosity, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, process improvement, leadership, initiative and teamwork.
