Role overview

Senior hands-on creative role combining art direction and visual design across integrated digital and retail work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong concepts and visual ideas from brief through final execution.
• Provide art direction across digital, social, email, retail and in-store touchpoints.
• Remain hands-on in design while setting a high visual standard for the work.
• Present and defend creative thinking with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Guide designers and freelance contributors when additional support is required.
• Help ensure consistency across campaigns, channels and production assets.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in art direction, visual design or integrated creative work.
• Strong digital-design background and portfolio demonstrating polished execution.
• Experience across multiple campaign channels, including retail and social.
• Ability to work independently while directing other creative contributors.
• Motion/video-related experience or asset-production familiarity is valuable.

Compensation

Public contract rate: CAD 60–70 per hour.
