Mécanicien industriel (millwright)

Industrial Millwright opportunity with Ben Hokum & Son in Golden Lake, Ontario, supporting a long-established sawmill and lumber-production operation. The position focuses on keeping production equipment reliable through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical repair work and is associated with an evening/night-shift operating schedule.

Key responsibilities
• Diagnose mechanical issues affecting sawmill and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Repair and replace mechanical components and return equipment to safe operating condition.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and support production teams during equipment interruptions.
• Inspect machinery and identify developing reliability or safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate repair needs and follow-up work.
• Work safely around industrial machinery and coordinate with operations personnel.

Profile
Ontario 433A Industrial Millwright certification is required. Sawmill, manufacturing or other heavy-industrial maintenance experience is strongly relevant. Candidates should have solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first approach and the ability to work independently in an active production facility.
