QC Inspector

Role overview

Axcess Talent Management Solutions is recruiting a Quality Control Inspector for a permanent full-time position with a manufacturing company in southeast Calgary. The inspector performs first-off, in-process and final inspections and works with assembly, manufacturing and shipping/receiving teams to ensure machined products meet dimensional, labeling and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection equipment and materials before quality checks.
• Inspect machined components with micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other precision tools.
• Complete first-article, in-process and final inspections against drawings and specifications.
• Document results, identify non-conformances and support corrective-action work.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and shipping/receiving to resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain inspection records and follow established quality and safety procedures.

• Quality-control or dimensional-inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances/GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and computer-based documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and communicate quality issues.
• Comfort working closely with production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Permanent full-time Calgary position paying $24–$28/hour.
