Role overview

Axcess Talent Management Solutions is recruiting an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to lead machining operations in a high-precision oil-and-gas manufacturing environment in Calgary. The position combines hands-on CNC setup and machining with leadership, troubleshooting, quality-control support and continuous improvement across lathe and milling operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for precision components.
• Interpret drawings, machining requirements and dimensional specifications.
• Support inspection, root-cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
• Optimize machining processes, tooling and setup for productivity and quality.
• Mentor or guide other machinists and support consistent shop practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliable manufacturing output.

• Senior-level CNC machining experience in precision manufacturing.
• Strong CNC programming, lathe and milling-machine capability.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and dimensional inspection requirements.
• Experience in quality troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Leadership, mentoring and clear communication skills.
• Oil-and-gas manufacturing experience is relevant to the environment.

Permanent full-time position in the Foothills Industrial Park area of Calgary. Published pay is $40–$50/hour based on experience, Monday to Friday from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. RBB retains the detailed public listing as source and uses the official Axcess site as the nearest first-party destination because a stable first-party individual URL was not exposed.
