Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior (Java and WebFOCUS)

Role overview

Bevertec is recruiting a senior full-stack developer for a Toronto contract focused on enterprise application modernization and the replatforming of WebFOCUS-based capabilities. The consultant works across Java services and web interfaces, supports integration through REST APIs and contributes to delivery practices that move code through modern CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack enterprise application components.
• Build and integrate Java services and REST APIs.
• Support the modernization and migration of WebFOCUS functionality.
• Develop and maintain web-facing components and integration points.
• Participate in testing, release, troubleshooting and CI/CD activities.

• Approximately eight or more years of Java development experience.
• Five or more years working with Angular or comparable enterprise front-end technologies.
• Hands-on WebFOCUS experience relevant to migration or replatforming work.
• Strong REST API, full-stack development and source-control/CI-CD knowledge.
• Ability to work on site in Toronto for the contracted assignment.
