Role description
Responsibilities
- Follow safety procedures and applicable workplace requirements.
- Set up and operate machine tools to manufacture precision parts in accordance with safety, quality and operational standards.
- Review blueprints and engineering drawings before and during machining work.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Apprenticeship/trade certification or associate-level training in machining.
- Intermediate English.
- Ability to operate trade machinery and work accurately from technical drawings.
- Strong teamwork and customer-service skills with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Journeyman/Red Seal status, CNC certification, safety certification and first-block college training are considered assets.
