Role description
DefineHR is recruiting an experienced electrical design and robot-programming professional for an industrial automation manufacturer and integrator. The role owns controls and automation work from design/programming through commissioning and support: PLC/HMI/robot/sensor programming, electrical drawings and bills of material, robotic-system implementation, troubleshooting, remote and onsite support, equipment installation and commissioning, safety reviews, customer training, control-panel support and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering degree strongly preferred; 5+ years of electrical controls design/programming; expert AutoCAD; strong robot programming such as RAPID; PLC/HMI/robotics/industrial automation experience; Canadian electrical standards; valid driver’s licence and passport; ability to travel up to 50% and work overtime/weekends when required.
