Hybrid Private Chauffeur / Handyman #2102

A private family is seeking a versatile professional for a hybrid role combining private chauffeuring and general property maintenance. The position is currently based in Mirabel and will move with the family residence to Rosemère in summer 2027. The employee provides safe, punctual and discreet transportation for family members, including school runs, appointments and activities, keeps vehicles clean and ready for use, and coordinates maintenance, inspections and repairs. Errands, deliveries and purchases are also part of the role when required.

On the property side, responsibilities include general and preventive indoor and outdoor maintenance, minor plumbing, painting, carpentry and assembly work, regular property inspections and identification of items requiring attention. The employee may coordinate vendors and contractors, assist with seasonal outdoor and equipment upkeep, keep the garage, storage and technical areas organized, and help move or install furniture and equipment. The role requires independence, sound judgment, discretion and the ability to shift effectively between driving duties and hands-on residential maintenance.

• Relevant experience as a private chauffeur, handyman, residence employee or in a similar position.
• Valid driver’s licence and excellent driving record.
• Strong knowledge of North Shore roads.
• Practical knowledge of residential maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to use tools safely and perform light-to-moderate physical work.
• Independence, prioritization skills and sound judgment.
• Fluency in French.
• Flexibility and availability according to the family’s needs.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Discretion, punctuality, reliability, professional presentation, resourcefulness, initiative and attention to detail.

Current location: Mirabel, Quebec; the role will move with the residence to Rosemère in summer 2027.
Type: permanent, full-time, live-out position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday; approximately 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with on-call availability during the day as family needs arise.
Salary: CAD 70,000–80,000 depending on experience.
