Forklift - Reach/Order Picker/Counterbalance a MUST!

Role overview

A Brampton distribution warehouse near Airport Road and Clark Boulevard is recruiting experienced, licensed operators for Reach, Order Picker, Walkie and Counterbalance equipment for a busy-season expansion. This is a permanent, full-time day-shift opportunity with long-term potential and the possibility of direct hire after the probationary period.

Schedule and compensation

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime.
• $22.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay, paid weekly.
• Overtime after 44 hours per week.

Work

The role involves safe operation of material-handling equipment, warehouse and inventory movement, RF-scanner use and day-to-day support of a high-volume distribution operation.

• Minimum two years of experience operating Reach, Order Picker, Walkie and Counterbalance equipment.
• Current licensing for the required equipment; the posting also specifies fall-arrest qualification.
• RF-scanner and inventory experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean criminal record, steel-toed safety footwear and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
