Role description
Responsibilities
- Operate harvesting equipment safely and in accordance with forestry best-management practices.
- Complete routine equipment maintenance and care.
- Meet productivity, production and utilization expectations in remote operating environments.
- Support related maintenance, site tidying, training, layout, road work and fire-prevention activities as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of heavy forestry-machine experience, or approximately 1 year combined with relevant vocational training.
- High-school education.
- Intermediate English; the posting notes English is not necessarily required for the first interview.
- Mechanical skills and/or forestry-equipment operator certification are assets.
