Role description
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Support and oversee forestry operations including harvesting, silviculture and road activities.
- Maintain regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, government, Indigenous communities and local stakeholders.
- Monitor field conditions, regeneration and operational quality.
- Use GIS, inventory and digital forestry tools.
- Support sustainability certifications, audits and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 10+ years of forestry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
- Fluent English.
- Strong knowledge of planning, silviculture and harvesting.
- Understanding of environmental and sustainable-forestry requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
