Role description
Responsibilities
- Lead carpenters, labourers and equipment operators.
- Assign tasks and resources and monitor productivity and quality.
- Oversee formwork systems and resolve technical issues with project management and clients.
- Lead safety meetings and inspections.
- Support project plans, schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and procurement requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience; prior supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
- Strong formwork knowledge and ability to lead and motivate crews.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- English required on applicable sites.
- Availability for overtime, outdoor work, lifting approximately 50 lb, work at heights and travel.
- Valid driver’s licence, ability to work independently, strong verbal/written communication, computer skills and a strong safety focus.
