Senior Credit and Risk Manager, Commercial and Retail Adjudication Leader

Senior financial-services leadership position responsible for business and retail credit adjudication, portfolio risk oversight and the effective operation of a credit function. The leader translates organizational strategy into prudent lending decisions, monitors portfolio risk against approved appetite and tolerances, and makes or escalates credit decisions within delegated authority.

The mandate also includes oversight of credit products and pricing, collaboration with Finance, special accounts, policy compliance, risk mitigation, department operations, budgets and team leadership.

• University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of financial-services experience.
• Minimum 4 years of credit-management experience.
• Expert knowledge of business and retail credit.
• Expert knowledge of BC regulatory requirements related to credit.
• Expert knowledge of credit adjudication and operational best practices; policy/procedure drafting experience is preferred.
