VP, Credit – Adjudicator

Vice-president-level credit leadership role responsible for commercial and retail lending oversight and adjudication within a financial institution. The VP translates strategy into credit objectives and processes, evaluates applications, ensures lending decisions align with corporate policy and regulatory standards, and manages current and emerging credit risk.

Responsibilities include portfolio-risk oversight, pricing and product governance, retail and business lending adjudication, special accounts, departmental effectiveness, budgets and leadership of collaborative teams.

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years in financial services.
• Minimum 4 years of management experience in credit.
• Expert knowledge of business and retail credit.
• Expert knowledge of BC regulatory requirements related to credit.
• Expert knowledge of credit adjudication and operational best practices; policy/procedure drafting experience preferred.
