Are you a lawyer with at least 6 to 10 years of experience in penal or regulatory law, with management experience? Come leverage your expertise in an environment where people genuinely enjoy going everyday!

YOUR ROLE:

As the manager of the legal team, you will oversee the activities of the legal department and advise senior management on strategic issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coaching the legal team;

  • Advising on legal matters;

  • Setting priorities, assigning files, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met;

  • Managing priorities, budgets, and performance;

  • Overseeing investigations and judicial/penal files;

  • Developing internal policies, practices, and tools;

  • Demonstrating strong and inspiring leadership.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

  • Relevant experience in penal or regulatory law;

  • Experience in managing investigations, evaluating evidence, and handling judicial or penal cases;

  • Demonstrated management experience;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive leadership;

  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset;

  • Strong ability to manage priorities and handle multiple files simultaneously;

  • Discretion, professionalism, rigor, and team spirit.
