Senior Legal Counsel

As part of a 15-month contract, the selected candidate will benefit from a competitive benefits package and a group RRSP, while playing a key role in legal matters related to the organization's Canadian and international operations.

The position is based in Montreal and follows a hybrid work model, with a few days per week in the office.

The ideal candidate stands out for their versatility, ability to quickly grasp new concepts, as well as their practical mindset, solution-oriented approach, and strong business acumen.

What you bring

  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience (private practice and/or in-house);

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills;

  • Autonomy, sound judgment, and strong prioritization skills;

  • Excellent attention to detail and rigor.

Your responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (procurement, marketing, technology, licensing, intellectual property, etc.);

  • Identify risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives;

  • Contribute to compliance initiatives and internal stakeholder training.
