Role description
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trucks safely in off-road and remote operating environments.
- Meet required productivity and utilization targets.
- Complete daily truck inspections and minor repairs when appropriate.
- Inspect the truck and cargo and maintain safe operating conditions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of off-road heavy-truck driving experience.
- High-school education.
- Intermediate English.
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence or equivalent.
- Safety certification is an asset.
- Truck, woods/forestry and mechanical experience are assets.
- Reliable transportation to work is required.
