Role description
About the opportunity
Morgan Philips Canada is recruiting a junior transactional lawyer for a growing professional-services firm on Montréal’s South Shore. The role covers commercial and corporate transactions including M&A, reorganizations and financing.
Key responsibilities
• Participate in acquisitions and sales of businesses, assets and shares.
• Support reorganizations, restructurings and financing transactions.
• Conduct due diligence.
• Draft, review and negotiate transactional documents.
• Advise clients on commercial activities and corporate obligations.
Qualifications
• Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
• 1–3 years of relevant business, corporate or transactional law experience.
• Strong interest in M&A and commercial transactions.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and research skills.
• Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English.
