About the opportunity
Morgan Philips Canada is retained by the City of Saint-Hyacinthe to recruit its next Director of Finance and Treasurer. The role contributes to sound municipal financial management, planning, control and organizational decision support.
Key responsibilities
• Lead the City’s finance and treasury activities.
• Support budget and financial planning.
• Ensure the quality of controls, analysis and reporting.
• Advise senior leadership and municipal bodies.
• Lead the people and priorities of the finance department.
Qualifications
• Senior-level financial leadership experience.
• Strong municipal/public-sector financial management capabilities.
