Role description
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements and promote safe operating practices.
- Lead process investigations, trials and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze process trends and operating data and develop practical solutions.
- Improve process performance, environmental outcomes and product quality.
- Support continuous-improvement programs.
- Communicate process changes and ensure they are implemented safely.
- Perform other process-engineering duties as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of pulp-and-paper experience.
- Fluent English.
- Strong leadership, organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple functional areas.
- Strong communication, curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement, with initiative and teamwork.
