Role description
About the opportunity
The Little Potato Company is hiring a Consumer Insights Manager to deliver actionable consumer insights, brand-performance measurement and marketing-effectiveness analysis across North America.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Insights, this individual-contributor role works closely with Marketing and Sales and manages both Consumer Insights and Marketing Performance portfolios.
Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver consumer and market research from research questions and methodology through vendor management and insight delivery.
• Lead brand-health tracking, consumer segmentation and analysis of purchase drivers, awareness, trial, repeat and loyalty.
• Translate research, panel data and consumer trends into recommendations for brand, product, shopper-marketing and sales plans.
• Support product innovation through concept, claims and package testing and advanced research methods.
• Analyze marketing performance across paid media, ecommerce, shopper marketing, web, social and CRM.
• Build clear executive-ready reporting and manage external research partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics or a related discipline with strong research and analysis content.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in consumer insights, marketing analytics, research or a related role supporting a consumer brand, with exposure to both agency/supplier and client-side environments.
End-to-end qualitative and quantitative research experience, consumer panel and syndicated/POS data, brand-health tracking, segmentation and advanced research techniques are expected. CPG experience is important, with food, produce or fresh/frozen categories considered an asset.

Work can be in-office at Nisku or DeForest or remote. Travel is estimated at 5–10% across Canada and the United States.
Compensation is described publicly as an excellent package, without a numeric range.
