Role description
Stratagem is recruiting a journeyperson mechanic for mining/industrial equipment operations in southwestern Ontario. The role inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and installs stationary and mobile equipment; diagnoses mechanical failures; disassembles and rebuilds assemblies; performs preventative maintenance; and works across diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and low-voltage systems. The position also supports safe-work procedures and mentoring of less-experienced mechanics.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician or 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician journeyperson certification; strong diesel, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting; heavy-truck and/or heavy-equipment repair experience; fabrication/welding capability; safety focus and ability to train or mentor others.
