Role description
Position overview
Full-time, on-site welding position in a busy Brampton production shop, working Monday to Friday on day shift.
Key responsibilities
- Perform GMAW and TIG welding.
- Work with carbon steel, 316 stainless steel, alloy 2205, some Hastelloy and other specialty materials.
- Read and interpret production drawings.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safety-focused work area.
Compensation
Up to $45/hour depending on experience, with benefits after the probationary period.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years GMAW/TIG welding experience.
- Carbon steel and stainless-steel welding/fabrication experience.
- CWB certification.
- 456A welding ticket is an asset.
- Able to read production drawings.
- Production-shop experience.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods.
- Punctual, communicative and legally entitled to work in Canada.
Additional information
Monday–Friday day shift.
