Maintenance Supervisor

Position overview

Hands-on maintenance leadership role overseeing mechanical, electrical and power-engineering technicians across shifts while maintaining the preventative-maintenance program.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assign work to maintenance staff and coordinate outside contractors.
• Ensure safety/environmental regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with management on interdepartmental work and parts/inventory needs.
• Document activity in the CMMS and oversee facility-maintenance requirements.

Conditions

• 4th Class Power Engineer.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial machinery maintenance/repair.
• Leadership, communication and organization skills, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination and PM-program management.
• Fluent written/spoken English.
• Permanently legally entitled to work in Canada.
